I have seriously been a good girl shopping wise lately, as well as selling all my possessions on Ebay like crazy! I will be treating myself to a few key Spring and Summer pieces over the next few weeks. Right now? I'm riding the
Romper wave ;)
Some things I consider before biting the bullet on one of these trendy little pretties:
~ a tailored fit {to avoid looking schlubby (is this a word?) and sloppy, or like I shop in the little girl's section}
~a light weight fabric such as silk or rayon. This gives it the movement it was designed to have, and again- anti-schlub look ;)
~ horizontal lines are not many's friend with this look
~good mid-range inseam- not too short, OR too long.
yeeesh lots of rules! but it's worth the thought.

I LOVE THESE!! They're all over the place here in Sweden.. and there are even TONS of long pant ones... like "one pieces" i don't even know what they're called.. but Rompers with legs? haha :)

ReplyDeleteI do like rompers but I haven't purchased one yet. I'm looking for the perfect one. I tried one on the other day at Target and while it was cute I just wasn't sold. I definitely agree, no horizontal lines and must be rayon or silk.
