While everyone else is coming out of wonderful food comas....or celebrating black friday by shopping out in the chaos...David and I will be going here to meet with the priest!
And then to meet with the florists!
 via Style Me Pretty
And try to come up with some lovely and fresh ideas!
Via Style Me Pretty

Wish us luck with the flowers. We are going into it a bit blindly. I had some photos on my computer for inspiration, but I dropped my computer last week and wiped the HD clean! Now I have to build my wedding inspiration folder from scratch again!  So back up ladies. I certainly will from here on out!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday, and get some deals out there!

Mad Hatter

I've spoken on this before...like here but thinking about my own personal style, I tend to wear many hats, so to speak. I've always so admired people that are so comfortable in their skin and clearly representing their personality through there style. For example, sometimes I think it would be so nice and easy to just shop at J. Crew. Or just dress bohemian ALL the time. The blatent fact of the matter of Chelsea, is that I am much too spastic to decide on being preppy, or glam, or edgy, or...any one style! Although it's not always easy to be overwhelmed/ fascinated by potentially every store or line out there at the moment...and I swear sometimes I can see my closet breathing, expanding, just waiting to explode as a result of my latest purchase...but I've realized that I just have many moods, and personalities. And it's really fun not knowing justwhich "Chelsea" feels like attempting to seize the day on ANY given day! Embrace your own style loveys! There is none other like yours :)

This for example, is something I would never wear under my own will, but power to the ladies that can pull this off.

But for when I'm feeling girly and like wearing ruffles {okay, basically all the time}
For a fab of-the-moment edgy/glam look, these sweeties from:

Sometimes I'm a hippie Boulder lady...

And have Bohemian tendancies to the core!

I'm dying to know what hats you wear?

Let the Night Sweats Begin

It's happening.... I startled myself awake early this morning, and David woke and nervously asked "What's wrong?!" I said "I had the most awful nightmare!"

David said "What was it?"

I continued " It was our wedding day. And no one would help me with my hair. So I had to do it myself, while all the guests were arriving, and watching! AND I did my own nails and all my bridesmaids said 'oh honey, you need to have a professional do those, they look awful.'"
AND I HAD NO TIME! I LOOKED AND FELT LIKE A BUM.

At this point, David giggled, turned over and fell blissfully back asleep. This could be the beginning of many nightmares leading up to our day!

Of course I had to attempt to decode it. Here's what I found:
If you are getting married and have dreams of your pending wedding, then it highlights the stress of organizing a wedding. Conflicts over wedding details, tension with family and in-laws, fear of commitment, and loss of independence may all cause wedding anxiety dreams. Research has shown that up to 40% of brides and grooms have dreams about their ceremony and things going perfectly.

Who knew a silly wedding dream could be so horrifying?!

Ready.Studdy.GO!

I am having quite the day! My wedding dress came in early, so I went and tried it on and had lunch with some of the best girls a lady could hope to have in her life. I wish I could paste pictures of my dress all over the place, and from the rooftops, but this shall have to wait ;o)
I am just more excited than words can express, to wear that dress on August 14 and become a wife to the most lovable, amazing man in that dress. I can't wait to dance with my loved ones in that dress. And drink champagne and eat lots of cake in that dress. It will be a dream I'm sure!

But until that glorious day, I will spill about something very heavily in fashion radar recently. STUDS!
I'm no biker momma, but I gotta admit, I feel they're seriously fabulous in moderation. David, love, if you're reading this, take note :

Imagine my delight...

To find this glossy gem in the mailbox...

Oh, Louis. You never fail to excite me! It's not just an LV on a bag or a bangle. It's all the Parisian history that glancing at that brown vinyl-coated canvas induces....images of the the Seine...The Eiffel tower {of course}, and people passionate about quality fashion...crafting away deep in the heart of an ornately structured historic building...It's Louis!

My mouth is watering for that candy-apple wallet.
I pretty much need to stumble upon this hidden forest.

Oh, baby fawn...have you any idea of the goodies around you?

Goodbye magical forest of Vuitton!
I will dream of you and maybe add a tidbit to my Christmas wishlist. Okay, basically it's ALL on my list ;)

I just adore using lovely containers to contain everyday objects. Apothecary jars offer an antique quality, yet keep things looking clean and modern. If you're looking, you can see them everywhere, and for good reason! Here's to me never getting tired of this simple, yet beautiful container :)
I would put cleaners and soaps in these...or pills...or olive oil!

They can accomodate the changing seasons with class...and no mess!

I want to kidnap these for my wedding! Just organic and romantic.

Do you have a fave element in your decorating style?

I honestly believe I would never tire of planning beautiful weddings reflecting personality and romance :) I find myself wanting to incorporate so many different themes and elements into my own, but it just can't, and shouldn't be done. So much inspiration out there! I just wanted to share. These are some sweet ideas for a warm wedding out in the country!

How great are these love bird cake-toppers?!
Source:Etsy is all I know!
I LOVE this idea of waving flags as the newly married couple comes out of the church! What a great photo possibility for everyone!
Martha Stewart

Love the lace doilies and ceramic chicken...and the flowers. sigh.
Style me Pretty

Just a lovely pure looking cake that just might melt in your mouth...and of course loving the warm paisley print complementing the flowers and silver...
What EVER will I do when I no longer have a lovely wedding to plan?! Bug all my single girlfriends I guess!
Have a wonderful Thursday! It will be 76ish here today woohoo!

Thank you to the sweet, fabulous Lucky In Love for tagging me for this little gem:

The directions are to post the award on your site, write 10 interesting things about yourself, and then pass it on to 10 other bloggers. I honestly can't think of 10 interesting things about myself...So I've asked the man who is volunteering to be side by side with my crazy self for LIFE!
1. I have "puppy talk"....which is probably really unfortunate for other people to hear! My dogs and I have a special way of communicating I guess, in high pitched blurry baby talk :)
2. I go out of my way to make people feel comfortable {David's opinion} and always have a smile on my face.
3. My favorite movie, most people would never guess, is Boondock Saints. If you haven't seen it, you should! VERY interesting. David couldn't believe it was one of my faves EVER.
4. I'm sure I've said this one before, but I've played the violin and viola since I was 8, I don't play much anymore though, because I don't like bothering people in the house!
5. It takes me nearly an entire day to get in one run when snowboarding. {Thanks Dave} It so happens, I like to take my time, and not go too fast so I don't break something! AND I have a weird phobia/mental block about facing downhill and falling forward...call me crazy ;)
6. I like scary movies and would watch one every day of my life if allowed. As long as I'm not home alone.
7. It's interesting to David, that I actually watch the Real Housewives series. RUDE! Don't be tardy for the party!
8. I'm obsessed with movie theater popcorn. Obsessed.
9. The way I dance...goofy to say the least!
10. I clean FOR FUN.

I tag these wonderful ladies to Share about their Sugar Doll selves!

Bananas for Halloween!

I hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful Halloween! It has always been one of my absolute favorite holidays :) The candy, the kids in costumes, the candy...the spooky decor...candy. I have a LOT of blogs to catch up on, and can't wait to read about everyone's weekends. I've been super duper busy lately with life, and as I'm sure you all can relate, one of the first places that get neglected, is my blog time!

For now, I want to share with you {way too many photos}... a little piece of what our Halloween Holiday entailed : o)

Friday night, we went downtown for a costume ball and it was such great people watching. Barbie and Ken, for example, wearing next to NOTHING....
Me and my Harrrry Potta {Insert british brogue}

Bro and Sis pic!
Ready to leave on my ride ;)

loving the photo booth at the costume ball!

The next night, for Halloween,my mom needed the witch's hat, enter my throw-together-in-a-jif costume...
my inspiration :
yes. I was "lit-rally dying" all night! I love how she say literally.
Out with the fabulous Marilyn...ahem I mean Ana ;)
Can't wait for next Halloween already!

On a completely different note, our friend Patrick has been feeling like he needs a little blog love...So HERE IS THE SHOUT OUT PAT!! YOU PRETTY MUCH ROCK AT LIFE. We love you and Krystal and can't wait to meet the little babe :) Tell Krystal to keep cookin him until we get there :)
Pat and David, doing what they do best. Being goofballs...and inappropriate!
