Wedding Weekend recap begins!

Easily my favorite part of our wedding weekend was having all the people we treasure in one place, at one time for nearly a week! It was so powerful, and doesn't happen nearly enough.

The festivities kicked off with a BBQ at the awesome house that David's family and friends rented for the week. It slept about 20 people and was such a cozy environment to welcome and bring everyone together for the first time.

miniature welcoming committee:
Our niece and sweet little flower girl, Parker, having a blast in the HUGE yard!

just through these doors...is a house full of loved ones, music, food and drinks!
I can almost hear the laughter and smell the mountain air now:)

Taylor even provided free entertainment!
Ashley, my new sis-in-law is missing from the pic, but these are the rest of my bridesmaids!

Bride-to-be status does not exempt you from having to scrap dog poo from your
dear friends shoe because she is having a freak out! Your welcome, Am ;)
Sneaking a hug in. David played guitar outside all night!
Thanks for stopping by!

More to come!

Weeeeenie Thursday??

I haven't had time to read any blogs lately, but I hope to very soon! I barely have time to kiss my husband and pups when I come in and out the door! Until then, here is a snippet of my eva-bug playing with my mom's brand new baby Zsa Zsa! We are madly in love :)

I wanted to show you the first bit of our wedding day in a fun way, so here it is.
Hope you enjoy our best day yet :)

There's so much more to come! Thanks for reminiscing with me.
And thank you James Christianson for capturing our day more beautifully than we had any right expect!

and this is why H&M won't get the best of me!

I think many of you will agree when I voice my frustration with the uber cheap and terrific *I'm trying to branch out from my over-usage of "fabulous"* fashion super-store H&M.

Why? for example, do they allow me to peruse their cheap *terrific collections online, only to tell me that no-they will NOT ship to the US, nor will they open an H&M store next to my house tomorrow. It's just rude! I mean-even sweet elderly ladies ship things overseas on etsy. And the US has 150 stores, so couldn't you ship from them? Just trouble-shooting for you, H&M, since you apparently are too busy creating *cute, cheap clothes to taunt sweet American girls with. I digress.

I saw a top online that practically screamed Chelsea and settled into the notion that said Chelsea blouse would never meet her Chelsea.
Flash Forward:
My dear, *amazing, selfless, world-travelling brother, Chad, called me on his way home from Europe and asked the innocent question "I'm in NYC, want anything?"
And the rest, as they say, is history :)

On a completely different note, this is what I have to deal with at work.
Happy Cakes. All.the.time.
They have a great working relationship with the company I work for, and for every event we have, we have unlimited Happy cakes. Every.single.week.

it is an event in itself when someone lifts the lid to discover the new flavors!
Spiced pear, chocolate dipped pumpkin-chocolate chip, and champagne.
Imagine the most amazing buttery cream cheese frosting and you're getting close :)

I won't even tease you with the flavors we had yesterday! Okay, my favorite was sea-salt caramel chocolate.
God, give me strength!

And all these things? Are why H&M won't get the best of me!
