I have so much scrap fabric, I decided to make some lilly p. meets bohemian  braided head bands to help disguise my lack of a cute summer hairstyle ;)

Riding the heat wave

Whew it is going to be 100 today in Denver! Pool tiiiiime!

With the heat, we have been trying to keep busy and productive, but as is evident by my daugers (get it? my dogs, that are like my daughters? Hush, it's not weird) the temps tend to take there toll. {say that 10 times fast!}

As is normal lately, blogger isn't working well. But here is a photo of Peach passed out from heat exhaustion on her uncle Chad's computer :)

My mom and I hosted a baby shower for my sweet cousin. She made a haul from family and friends who helped to prepare her for baby Jackson.

sorry for the phone pics, I promise the shower was NOT in a cave.

Eva is a mix between loudy and lovey.

And I am apparently a new breed of crazy bird.

Summer fun

I feel like road runner. With all the absolutely beautiful weather, I feel like I'm running around leaving a trail of smoke behind me! 

My mom found this table for $12. 

I sanded...

I primed...

I painted...                                                                  Then Distressed...

 Voila! It's ready to go in my mom's sweet little shop :)

I've also been enjoying the pool, along with friends, family, 

and this watermelon margarita {which I didn't hate ;)}!

 I have also been forced to sip on delicious mint spritzers.

Isn't summer rough?!

Vacay in the BayBay

I've been absent from the blog world for a bit, but for good reason! We took a quick trip this last week to San Francisco and the surrounding areas for the wedding of some awesome friends. I wanted to make a fabulous movie of our travels, but for the sake of time {and my lack of movie making skills} I made a little slideshow for fun. I can't remember what I was going to blog about, but it wasn't this. I just couldn't resist bragging on these wonderful wedding vendors featured on this inspiration shoot featured on Style Me Pretty.

They borrowed my FAVE dress from our shop right now, and it is magical!

I'm particularly ecstatic that two wonderful vendors from our very own wedding, our photographer James, and our baker from Intricate Icings got to showcase their talent :)
